How Barnabas Foundation Works for You

Our experienced Estate Planning attorneys will help you develop or refine an Estate or Charitable Giving Plan.
We provide you with calculations for specific charitable giving instruments.
At your request, we produce sample language for charitable bequests in Wills and/or Trusts.
We deliver specimen Trust documents for Charitable Trusts.
By using Barnabas Foundation as a conduit for estate gifts, your clients can change their designated charities and/or percentages by merely submitting a new Distribution Request Form.
Barnabas Foundation’s Stewards Fund, our donor-advised fund, allows your clients to make a single gift to Barnabas Foundation and decide later how they want to distribute the funds to their favorite charities. They receive an immediate tax benefit and then have time to determine which charities they want to support.

We help Christians accomplish their Estate Planning [link to Estate Planning pages] goals.
Our attorneys are knowledgeable about charitable giving benefits as well as Estate Plans and will come alongside your clients during the planning process. We consider income needs and requirements in each plan.

We assure complete confidentiality in the planning process.
People feel safe and secure in providing us with information needed to develop their Estate Plan because the planning is objective and independent, and all information is kept strictly confidential. We never disclose financial details or family situations to any organization.

We do not sell or recommend any particular financial or investment products.
Barnabas Foundation does not receive any fees or payments from individuals or companies who offer financial or investment products. We neither refer individuals nor recommend specific companies that offer investment products.

Our planning services are provided at no charge or obligation to individuals.
We provide our services at no charge and without obligation, thanks to the annual contributions made by the Foundation's nearly 200 Christian member organizations.

We never ask for any gifts.
We neither solicit nor encourage any gifts to Barnabas Foundation. Your clients can be assured that we do no fundraising on our own behalf or for other organizations as part of the planning process.

We offer Stewardship Education and Development programs.
We provide speakers and other resources to churches and Christian organizations to help develop a greater understanding of stewardship as an essential part of a joyful Christian lifestyle.

We refer and recommend competent Christian attorneys upon request. We provide gift calculators and other resources to professional advisors.
We provide names and contact information to Christians interested in working with a lawyer in their geographic area to help them develop an Estate Plan or Will. If a donor does not have an attorney and desires one who shares his or her values and beliefs, we will try to assist.
